Projects

SRC caters for a diverse range of works, from minor projects such as maintenance and repairs to complete building schemes or refurbishment & restoration.

Examples of the some of SRC’s projects include:

  • The careful dismantling and reconstructing of stone walls including structural tying and stabilisation together with replacement of defective stone with a local sourced sand stone and finished with traditional lime mortar bedding and pointing.

  • Refurbishment of an ecclesiastical property to a bespoke office facility included the specialist cleaning, production of tracery windows with detailed mouldings, glazing and joinery fit out.

  • The carpentry and joinery craftsman are skilled in a wide range of woodworking, to include specialist timber repair, reproduction and re-instalment of manufactured bespoke joinery.

  • Lead sheet has traditionally been used as a protective element externally and SRC’s craftsmen work with rolled and sandcast lead to form flat roofs, canopies, gullies, flashings & weathering’s, rainwater goods in ornate or timeless designs.
